Week 1:
I have started researching an unsigned artist and found one called Sydney Renae who made a remake of 'into you" by Fabolous and Tamia, out of a days research to use in my music video. I have also transcribe her lyrics onto my blog and started the presentation which i will be using in my pitch for my music video and how it'll be set. The main talent needed in music videos is to be able to lip sync which i've practised in class and i filmed it to know what good lip syncing looks like. Beach combing is also essential which will motivate how my music video will go. to give me a sense of motivation.
Week 2:
I have finished my music video pitch which consists of conventions, plot ideas including location and artist identity as well as cast/crew. I have presented my idea in class and also received feedback as well as constructive criticism in which will improve my video as i will incorporate other peoples ideas and suggestions into my music video idea. However, it is not certain that i will actually make a video according to my idea as i am in a group of 4 and there are other ideas to choose from as they also constructed their ideas. So far i am liking Daniel's idea as it's more precise and different to everybody else's in terms of visuals, it's more fun and unserious which todays audiences enjoy (stereotyping).
